The Zulu word that means both family and the name of the tree (knob thorn tree) gracefully standing at the entrance of the house, beloved by giraffes for its fruits. Family and nature happen to be significant for us.

Hoedspruit is an authentic and culture rich South African village located on the border of the province of Limpopo, at the foot of the Klein Drakensberg mountains. Hoedspruit is surrounded by game reserves; therefore, it’s called the Safari capital of South Africa. And rightfully so with a lot of things you can do and experience in Hoedspruit.

The yearly average in Hoedspruit is a warm 28,6 degrees perfect for those holidays that are planned to be spent around your private heated swimming pool. The coolest month is July with an average temperature of 24,7 degrees during the day which provides a cool breeze throughout your villa.
